About Generate Fake Text Tool
The Generate Fake Text tool allows you to create text that looks visually identical (or very similar) to standard text but is composed of different Unicode characters, known as "homoglyphs" or "confusables". This technique is often used for:
- Text Obfuscation: Bypassing simple text filters or keyword scanners.
- Security Testing: Testing how systems handle homograph attacks (e.g., simulating phishing URLs).
- Unique Usernames: Creating usernames that look like common names but are technically unique strings.
- Pranks & Fun: Sending messages that look normal but behave differently (e.g., won't show up in search).
Features
- Multiple Homoglyph Sets: Choose between Cyrillic (most similar to Latin), Greek, or a Mixed mode for maximum variation.
- Adjustable Intensity: Control the percentage of characters that get replaced. Set to 100% for full obfuscation or lower for subtle changes.
- Real-time Conversion: Instantly see the result as you type or adjust settings.
- Privacy First: All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. No text is sent to our servers.
